2016

THE BEGINNING
GATEWAY Co., Ltd. was established.
Our journey began in international trade, connecting Japanese products and brands with overseas markets.
Working across markets, business practices and languages, we brought together what was needed and turned connections into real transactions.
This is where GATEWAY began.
2018
BRANDS / MARKETS
BEYOND TRADE
Through joint investment with a Japanese company, we established a joint venture in Tianjin, China.
Supporting Japanese brands entering China, our work expanded beyond imports and exports into local brand operations and business development.
GATEWAY’s role grew from taking products across borders to connecting markets and businesses themselves.
2020
SUPPLY CHAIN
ADAPT
In 2020, the pandemic transformed the movement of people and goods.
Alongside our established exports from Japan, we began importing testing reagents and other pandemic-response supplies into Japan.
As circumstances change, so do needs.
We found new routes amid disruption and connected essential supplies with the places that needed them.
This experience further strengthened GATEWAY’s adaptability and ability to execute.

PEOPLE / MEDICAL / TECHNOLOGY
NEW FIELDS
After the pandemic, GATEWAY expanded into new specialist fields.
We deepened our international medical support, connecting overseas clients with Japanese medical institutions and coordinating health screenings, detailed examinations and treatment in Japan.
At the same time, drawing on our representative director’s practical experience in EV charging and energy, we pursued business development connecting overseas technologies and products with the Japanese market.
From products and markets to people, healthcare and technology.
